School is back in session and routines have returned.  The Zephyrhills Police Department recommends that you discuss and teach the following:

          After School Safety
Make certain school age children check in after school
Keep emergency numbers close at hand and easy to find
Train children in the responsible use of 911
Have a family member or close neighbor as a back-up

School Zone Safety
Take heed driving in posted school speed limits
Watch carefully for children in crossing zones
Stay a safe distance away from school buses loading or unloading
Stop when the school bus stops
