The Desert Hot Springs Police Department is accepting applications from residents, or those who work in the City of Desert Hot Springs to attend its fourth Community Police Academy beginning Tuesday September 29, 2009.

The Academy will meet for three hours, on Tuesday nights, for eight weeks and is part of the Department’s Community Policing Initiative that is designed to provide an in-depth look at the Department and the criminal justice system.  The goal of the academy is to build upon the already strong relationship between the community and the Department.
